How to Withdraw CAD with Interac e-Transfer

Once you’ve locked-in your gains by selling Bitcoin, let’s get that cash over to your bank account using the most popular method of delivery — Interac e-Transfer!

The first step in transferring funds from your MyBTC.ca account balance to your bank account is to click or tap the red “Withdraw” button.

You will then be able to view the list of options to withdraw CAD to your Canadian bank or credit union. The first option on the list will be Interac e-Transfer — to the right, press the red “View Instructions” button.

Next, enter the dollar amount you would like to withdraw. You can e-Transfer anywhere from $10 to a maximum of $25,000 per withdrawal. The fee will be deducted from the amount you enter, so make sure to review the “After Fees” (net) amount before pressing the red “Submit” button at the bottom of the window to proceed and confirm your request.

Easy as pumpkin pie! Your funds have now been deducted from your MyBTC.ca account balance and your withdrawal amount is now pending and will be delivered faster than the other guys. If you’re registered for auto-deposit, the funds will land directly into your bank account without having to lift a finger.

Interac e-Transfer Withdrawal Limits and Fees

• Per withdrawal: $10 to $25,000.
• Daily maximum: $100,000, across multiple requests.
• Fee: $5.00 per withdrawal, deducted from the amount you enter.
• Timing: usually 0 to 6 hours.

For example, if you request $1,000, you’ll receive $995 after the fee. Need to move more than $25,000? Submit several Interac e-Transfer withdrawals in the same day, or use a Bank Transfer for $20,000 to $75,000 at a time.

Before You Withdraw: Quick Checklist

• Set up Autodeposit. If your bank supports Interac Autodeposit, the money goes straight into your account. Otherwise, watch for the deposit notification and accept it.
• Check the “After Fees” amount before you press “Submit”.

Troubleshooting

My e-Transfer hasn’t arrived. Most arrive within 0 to 6 hours. If you don’t use Autodeposit, check your email, including junk and spam, for the deposit notification. Still nothing? Contact our support team and we’ll look into it.
